Terms of Service

Effective date: 22 July 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of MediaPuller.com and its related webpages, media-resolution tools, anonymous story-viewer tools, media processing and delivery functionality, and any associated application programming interfaces made available by MediaPuller (collectively, the “Service”). In these Terms, “MediaPuller,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of MediaPuller.com. “You” means the person or organisation using the Service.

By visiting, submitting a URL or username to, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you use the Service for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes that organisation.

These Terms apply in addition to any applicable third-party platform terms, creator licences, privacy notices, content rules, and laws. They do not grant you a right to breach any of them. Where mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be waived, these Terms do not limit those rights.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your place of residence and your use is lawful. If you are below the age at which you may lawfully accept these Terms, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited by applicable sanctions, export controls, platform rules, or other law.

3. Description of the Service

MediaPuller is an independent technical tool that processes a URL or public profile identifier supplied by you and attempts to identify media formats, metadata, thumbnails, or publicly reachable story items made available by third-party platforms. Depending on the source and feature, it may display a title, author or profile name, description, duration, thumbnail, caption, publication time, format information, and a link or stream through which the relevant media may be viewed or downloaded.

For most downloader requests, MediaPuller obtains format information and supplies a link that points to media made available by the source platform or its delivery network. The download link normally causes your browser to communicate with that source directly. MediaPuller does not promise that a link will remain valid, work in every location or browser, include audio, have a particular quality, or be suitable for any particular purpose.

Some features may use temporary proxying, streaming, caching, or intermediary processing where technically necessary to provide the requested functionality. These processes do not create a permanent public media library.

The Service is designed for normally accessible content. It is not a tool to defeat authentication, paid access, subscriptions, DRM, privacy settings, geographic restrictions, age gates, creator restrictions, platform access controls, or other technical measures. We may decline a request whenever the source does not expose a usable public format, a feature is unavailable, or we consider processing inappropriate, risky, unlawful, or harmful.

4. Anonymous Story Viewer

MediaPuller currently offers story-viewer functionality for selected social platforms. The term “anonymous” refers solely to the fact that MediaPuller does not require you to authenticate with your own account on the requested social platform. It does not promise complete anonymity, invisibility, or non-identification.

In particular, your browser may connect directly to a source platform or content-delivery network when it loads media. Those parties may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, device characteristics, cookies, or referrer information under their own policies. MediaPuller also uses its own technical accounts, sessions, cookies, or authorised platform connections for certain story features where the implementation requires them. A platform may detect, restrict, change, or revoke that access at any time. MediaPuller does not control a platform’s records, notifications, analytics, or interpretation of activity, and does not warrant that a story view cannot be attributed, logged, rate-limited, or otherwise observed by a third party.

You must not use a story-viewer feature to stalk, harass, surveil, identify, threaten, embarrass, or otherwise harm another person; to monitor a private individual without a lawful basis; or to obtain content you are not legally entitled to access. Story availability, visibility, expiry, quality, captions, downloadability, and platform URLs are determined by the source platform and may change without notice.

5. Supported Platforms

MediaPuller supports multiple third-party platforms. The current list is displayed through the Service’s supported-site and downloader interfaces. Support is not a representation that every URL, post type, account, country, quality, story, live stream, playlist, image, GIF, audio file, or video from a listed service will work.

MediaPuller may add, remove, limit, pause, or change platform support without notice. Platform support depends on third-party interfaces, page structures, delivery networks, usage rules, account status, source availability, and applicable law. A platform may change its service in a way that prevents MediaPuller from working, and we have no obligation to restore compatibility.

6. No Consumer Account Requirement; No Premium Commitment

The publicly available downloader and story-viewer pages do not require you to create a consumer MediaPuller account. The website contains restricted operator or administrative accounts and authenticated API functions, but those are not an offer of public account registration, a public API subscription, or a right to access internal functions. You must not attempt to obtain, use, share, buy, sell, or bypass access to any restricted account, token, API, administration area, session, or endpoint.

Currently, the Service does not offer a paid, premium, subscription, or storage plan. If MediaPuller later offers a paid feature, that feature may be governed by separate pricing, billing, refund, and service-specific terms. Nothing in these Terms obliges MediaPuller to introduce or maintain any paid or free feature.

7. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for each URL, username, profile identifier, request, and use of content made through the Service. Before accessing, viewing, downloading, copying, retaining, sharing, publishing, editing, or otherwise using any content, you must determine that you have the legal right to do so. That determination may require permission from the copyright owner, creator, performer, platform, or other rightsholder, and may also require compliance with privacy, publicity, data-protection, contract, employment, confidentiality, export-control, and local-law obligations.

You represent and warrant that: (a) your submissions and use of the Service are accurate and lawful; (b) you have all permissions, licences, consents, and authority needed for your intended use; (c) your use does not violate any third-party platform’s terms or technical restrictions; and (d) you will not cause MediaPuller, its operator, suppliers, or users to incur liability, loss, or regulatory exposure. MediaPuller does not provide legal advice and cannot determine whether any particular use is fair use, fair dealing, licensed, public-domain, authorised, or otherwise lawful.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not, and must not assist another person to:

  • use the Service to infringe copyright, neighbouring rights, database rights, trademark rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other third-party right;
  • access, copy, download, stream, or distribute content without the required legal right, consent, licence, or lawful exception;
  • bypass or attempt to bypass a paywall, subscription requirement, login requirement, age gate, region restriction, DRM, privacy setting, access-control mechanism, or platform security feature;
  • submit private, confidential, stolen, unlawfully obtained, malicious, deceptive, or unlawful URLs, identifiers, media, or data;
  • use the Service for stalking, harassment, surveillance, doxxing, intimidation, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware delivery, phishing, or unlawful collection of personal data;
  • use bots, scripts, distributed systems, proxies, rotating identities, bulk requests, automated scraping, or other means to overload, evade limits, test capacity, or interfere with the Service or a third party;
  • reverse engineer, probe, scan, exploit, interfere with, or attempt unauthorised access to the Service, its APIs, server, accounts, source code, credentials, tokens, proxy endpoints, or security controls;
  • remove or alter notices, resell the Service, offer it as a competing service, or imply that MediaPuller endorses you or your activity; or
  • use the Service in a way that is illegal or that could harm the security, availability, reputation, rights, or operations of MediaPuller, a source platform, a creator, or any other person.

9. User Submissions, Source Records, and Downloaded Content

A “User Submission” includes a source URL, profile identifier, username, request parameter, feedback, or other information you provide to the Service. You retain any rights you have in your User Submission. However, you grant MediaPuller a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to receive, validate, process, transmit to the necessary source platform or service provider, cache, store, display, and otherwise use that User Submission solely to operate, secure, diagnose, improve, enforce, and provide the Service.

To provide and maintain the Service, MediaPuller may retain a submitted source URL and related source metadata, format information, generated result information, and operational records. Certain successful requests may result in publicly accessible generated pages. Do not submit a URL or identifier if its processing, retention, or publication could harm you or another person.

Downloaded or streamed content is not owned by MediaPuller merely because the Service identifies, relays, or displays it. All rights in third-party content remain with the applicable owner or licensor. You receive no licence from MediaPuller to reproduce, adapt, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, commercialise, or otherwise use third-party content. You are solely responsible for your storage, backup, security, publication, and further use of any content you obtain.

10. Public Pages and Search-Engine Indexing

Certain successful requests may generate a public page containing the submitted source address and related publicly available metadata. Public pages may be discovered, indexed, cached, reproduced, or archived by search engines and other third parties. Removal from MediaPuller does not guarantee immediate removal from a search engine, browser cache, archive, source platform, or third-party service. If you believe a generated page unlawfully exposes personal information or protected material, contact MediaPuller using the procedure in these Terms.

11. Automated Processing

MediaPuller may automatically analyse submitted URLs, identifiers, public metadata, technical responses, and media-format information using automated systems in order to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the requested functionality. Automated analysis may produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect results. MediaPuller may introduce machine-learning or other AI-assisted functions in the future, but no automated output should be treated as a factual, legal, professional, or rights-clearance determination.

12. Intellectual Property, Copyright, and Trademarks

The Service, including its original software, design, text, databases, branding, interfaces, and compilation of content, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the public Service in accordance with these Terms, MediaPuller reserves all rights not expressly granted to you.

MediaPuller is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or associated with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, X, Pinterest, Reddit, SoundCloud, Twitch, Telegram, or any other supported platform. All platform names, logos, trademarks, service marks, and trade names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify compatibility or the source of content. Their use does not create a partnership, endorsement, or agency relationship.

MediaPuller respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. We do not authorise the Service to be used for infringement, and we may remove a record, suppress a result, block a source, disable a proxy token, limit a feature, or refuse a request when we reasonably believe that doing so is necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or reduce risk.

13. Copyright and DMCA Notices

If you believe that material accessible through MediaPuller infringes your copyright or another legal right, send a written notice to the contact below. For a notice under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), including: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work; (c) identification and location of the material you want removed or disabled; (d) sufficient contact information; (e) a good-faith statement that the challenged use is not authorised; and (f) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rightsholder.

The current copyright-notice procedure and contact information are published in the DMCA Policy. The general copyright contact must not be understood as a registered DMCA Designated Agent unless that policy expressly identifies it as one.

We may request additional information to verify authority, identify the material, assess jurisdiction, or prevent fraud. We may act on a notice by removing or de-indexing an item record, disabling access to a media/proxy token or feature, restricting a source, preserving relevant records, or taking other action we consider appropriate. We may forward a notice or appropriate information to a user, a source platform, a hosting provider, or a competent authority when reasonably necessary to investigate, comply with law, or protect rights.

A person who believes that removal or disabling resulted from mistake or misidentification may submit a counter-notice containing the information required by applicable law. Submission of a counter-notice may expose the sender to legal proceedings. MediaPuller may restore or decline to restore access in accordance with applicable law, platform obligations, technical feasibility, and risk assessment. Nothing in this section requires MediaPuller to host, restore, or keep any content available.

14. Repeat Infringer Policy

MediaPuller may identify repeat or serious misuse using available evidence, including valid legal notices, repeated prohibited requests, repeated attempts to defeat restrictions, technical indicators, source patterns, account information where applicable, and abuse reports. In appropriate circumstances, we may warn a user, reject individual requests, remove or disable records or functions, rate-limit access, revoke tokens, restrict an account, block an IP address or network identifier, or permanently terminate access. We may consider withdrawals, counter-notices, credible explanations, and applicable law, but are not required to provide a warning or a particular number of strikes before acting where immediate action is reasonably necessary.

15. Third-Party Services and Intermediary Processing

The Service depends on third-party platforms, media delivery networks, extraction tools, browsers, APIs, hosting services, and other suppliers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. MediaPuller does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, advertisements, account actions, content removals, access decisions, technical changes, or outages.

Some features may use temporary proxying, streaming, caching, external service providers, or other intermediary processing where technically necessary. By requesting a function, you instruct MediaPuller to make the technical requests reasonably necessary to provide it. You should review the relevant third party’s privacy and usage terms before proceeding.

We do not warrant that a third-party service is secure, lawful in your jurisdiction, available, or suitable for your use. You must not rely on MediaPuller as a privacy, anonymity, security, archival, backup, or evidence-preservation service.

16. Privacy

Use of the Service involves processing submitted requests, public source information, technical information, and usage information as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, rate-limit, administer, enforce, and improve the Service and to comply with lawful requests. MediaPuller may use temporary caching and retain operational records where reasonably necessary for those purposes.

You must not submit personal, confidential, or sensitive information unless it is necessary for your lawful use of the Service and you have a valid legal basis to do so. Further information about categories of data, purposes, lawful bases, cookies, retention periods, international transfers, user rights, and privacy contacts must be provided in MediaPuller’s current Privacy Policy.

17. Rate Limiting, Security, and Abuse Prevention

URL-resolution and story-search requests consume external and server resources. MediaPuller may monitor, reject, queue, slow, rate-limit, or return an HTTP 429 response to requests that exceed technical limits or appear abusive. It may temporarily suspend or permanently block abusive users, devices, IP addresses, network ranges, accounts, tokens, API clients, or request patterns. Limits may be changed without notice and may apply globally, per feature, per source, per IP address, per session, or by other reasonable technical criteria.

You must not attempt to evade a restriction using VPNs, proxies, rotating addresses, multiple accounts, automation, altered headers, or any other method. Security and abuse controls are protective measures, not a guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, immune from attack, or available to every user. A block may affect a shared network, and MediaPuller is not liable for resulting delay or unavailability.

18. Availability and Service Changes

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, change extraction methods, update software, remove a platform, stop caching a result, disable a proxy, alter a feature, change limits, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uptime, support, compatibility, data preservation, response time, particular media quality, absence of errors, or continued access to any link, record, story, account, or platform.

Source-platform changes, legal requests, infrastructure failures, malware concerns, security events, rate limits, account restrictions, and licensing or policy changes may make the Service unavailable without notice. You should not depend on the Service for emergency, professional, archival, compliance, safety-critical, or time-sensitive use.

19. Export Control

You may not access, use, export, re-export, transfer, or make the Service available in violation of applicable export-control, import-control, trade-control, or technology-transfer laws. You are responsible for determining whether your location, intended use, destination, content, device, or counterpart is subject to a licence, restriction, prohibition, or reporting requirement.

20. Sanctions Compliance

You represent that you are not a person or entity subject to applicable sanctions or trade restrictions and are not acting on behalf of such a person or entity. You must not use the Service from, for the benefit of, or in connection with a comprehensively sanctioned territory or a prohibited party where applicable law forbids that activity. MediaPuller may screen, restrict, suspend, or refuse access where reasonably necessary to comply with sanctions, court orders, governmental requirements, or risk controls.

21. No Legal Advice

MediaPuller provides a technical service and general information only. Nothing on the Service, including these Terms, automated results, copyright information, or responses from MediaPuller, constitutes legal advice or a determination that a particular act is lawful. Laws and platform rules differ by jurisdiction and circumstance. You should obtain advice from a qualified legal professional when you are uncertain about your rights or obligations.

22. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, terminate, restrict, or refuse access to the Service or any feature immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, infringed rights, created legal or security risk, abused resources, supplied unlawful content, interfered with the Service, or if suspension is necessary to comply with law, a valid legal notice, a platform requirement, or a request from a competent authority. We may also remove stored result pages or technical records where appropriate.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Termination does not require us to delete public records, logs, data retained for legal, security, or operational reasons, or information already retained by a third party. Sections that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnity, dispute, and enforcement provisions, survive termination.

23. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. MEDIA PULLER DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, A SOURCE PLATFORM, A PROXY, A STREAM, A LINK, OR ANY CONTENT WILL BE SECURE, ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, AVAILABLE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, LAWFUL, NON-INFRINGING, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

MediaPuller does not endorse, verify, monitor, own, license, or control third-party content or user submissions. Any decision to view, access, download, use, or rely on content is entirely yours. Advice, statements, or information from MediaPuller do not create a warranty unless expressly made in a written agreement signed by an authorised representative of MediaPuller.

24. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEDIA PULLER AND ITS OPERATOR, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, GOODWILL, OPPORTUNITY, PRIVACY, OR CONTENT, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF MEDIA PULLER FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MEDIA PULLER FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including any non-excludable consumer protections.

25. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MediaPuller and its operator, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates from and against claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to: (a) your User Submissions; (b) your access to or use of the Service; (c) content you access, download, stream, retain, distribute, or use; (d) your violation of these Terms, third-party platform terms, or applicable law; or (e) your infringement or alleged infringement of another person’s rights.

26. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of Ukraine, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection law and any legally required forum, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine having territorial and subject-matter jurisdiction over the operator.

Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to send a written notice of the dispute using the current contact information in Section 29 and allow at least thirty (30) days for an informal attempt to resolve it. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief where appropriate, including to protect intellectual property, security, or confidential information.

27. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, security practices, third-party dependencies, or business operations. The revised Terms will be posted at https://mediapuller.com/terms with an updated effective date. Where required by law or where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice by a reasonable method before the change takes effect. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using the Service before the revised Terms take effect.

28. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and MediaPuller concerning the public Service, except for any separate written agreement signed by an authorised representative of MediaPuller. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or transfer of the Service. Headings are for convenience only.
